F*%$ Off Negative-Self! You're not welcome anymore!

Found this picture. It shows perfectly on how to change ones perception on any given situation. Things don’t always go our way. Not everything will be smooth sailing, but we are responsible on how we react to them. I can just sit here and think about all of the crappy things that haven’t worked out - personally and professionally. Boy, I could bring down a whole block with all of that negative thinking. It’s easy to do, too. Right? It’s easier to believe in the bad than the good. How screwed up is that? Well, I say enough!! I am...
I am OK

People keep asking me, “How are you doing during all of this?” I keep saying that I’m OK and I really don’t feel any different. Just taking one day at a time, which is true, but I may be cracking a bit. For one thing, I put the dirty laundry in the dryer - before it was washed - and proceeded to add OxyClean (LOVE THAT STUFF!). Thank goodness I realized what I had done before I pressed the start button. Then I just spent a considerable amount of time teaching my daughter how to close a zip-lock bag. For...

One day while looking in the mirror, I thought, “Wow! I’m not aging too badly!” For days I was thinking that I was freaking Peter Pan’s sister. Getting better with age. I was feeling G-O-O-D! Then my husband replaced the two light bulbs that had burned out above the mirror. I had not noticed that these two bulbs had burned out. What a rude awakening! So, turns out I am not related to Peter Pan or am the doppelganger of any supermodel. I am just me. While I will never be the woman that people will take a second look...
Kiddos

Children. Some say they are a gift from heaven. And yes, kids are great… and there are times when they are not so great. I have 2. They are both in their teens. They couldn’t be more different, but one thing they have in common is their awesome humor. However, they are both wise-asses and sarcastic. I know my husband and I are to blame for these personality traits. Touché, Karma, touché. With all of us stuck at home with our little treasures, you might be looking for things to do with them. Here are a few web sites that may...
Lift Someone Up!
Posted by Nancy Haywood on
Hello friends! In our pursuit to finding peace and positivity in our lives, we also find great satisfaction in helping others. We are not in this life alone, especially now. When we give to others, we gain so much more. The universe is like a boomerang, whatever you give out, you get back ten-fold. Lift someone else up especially if they can’t return the action. As we help others, we are in fact filled with more love and purpose than ever thought possible. Love to all!
